Workshops and Special Events
Weaving together original video and photo archive, this 30 minute film depicts the rise of Thich Nhat Hanh from a humble Vietnamese monk to one of the world's most influential and beloved spiritual leaders, inspiring millions to practice mindfulness to find peace in themselves and peace in the world.
We will start with a short meditation before the film, followed by time for discussion.

With Vickie MacArthur
A day of meditation, poetry, gentle yoga, and music centered around trees.

Spend time outdoors with trees to learn what trees can teach us about life.
Cost: $75 (includes lunch)
Join my mentor Susan Scott, and friends, for this online week-end retreat inviting us to tell our stories in holistic ways that support truth and beauty, solitude and community, action, and contemplation. We begin by asking, what happens when we unearth what’s been forgotten, or when light falls on what is lost? Using gentle exercises in fostering silence, writing, speaking, and collective listening, we will reacquaint ourselves with the luminous link between silence and stories. Vickie will be guiding the practice of yoga nidra to rest our bodies and calm our minds so we can listen for our "soul whispers".
Yoga Nidra is a form of meditation that leads to a state of profound rest and relaxation, helping us release deep and lingering stress and fatigue, that often prevents us from living our life purpose. In this experiential session, Vickie will guide you through a full Yoga Nidra session to begin to release tension and pain, as well as unravel thought patterns that may be blocking your body's hidden wisdom, and the "soul whispers" that arise when we take time to truly rest.
"The heart of the mystic has become a place of divine presence."
